Taurus TH45 | Taurus TH45 for sale
Taurus TH45. A .45 ACP model of Taurus’ polymer-framed, hammer-fired TH line of handguns has been released on the market.
These double-action/single-action semi-auto handguns, which come in both regular (4.25-inch barrel) and compact (3.5-inch barrel) configurations, were released in late 2018. They are available in the 9mm TH9 and.40-caliber TH40. A carbon steel slide, double-stack magazines, rear sights with drift adjustment in the Novak style, and a selection of frame colors were provided as standard features. Best of all, these weapons usually cost less than $300.
The new TH45 is here to preserve all the positive aspects of the TH series while adding a larger bore to the lineup.
The most recent handguns with the TH designation are polymer-framed, hammer-fired (not striker-fired), double-single action (DA/SA) firearms. The TH45’s thumb safety/decocker lets you carry the gun cocked and locked, just like its elder TH-series cousins. The capacity of the typical magazine is 13 rounds.
The marketing manager for the Taurus brand, Caleb Giddings, was cited in the press release as saying, “I can’t think of anything better than launching a 45 ACP the same week as Independence Day.” Actually, that is not a bad point. I’ve never heard of a cartridge that is more representative of America than the.45 ACP.
For those who are unfamiliar with double-action/single-action pistols, the term “double-action/single-action” (DA/SA) describes how the pistol functions in terms of the trigger pull, hammer drop, etc. Like a revolver (or the M9 Beretta used by the military, the CZ75, and others), the first pull of the trigger has a lengthier trigger pull and more resistance. After then, every shot is a single action; the initial shot sent the hammer back, therefore the following trigger pull causes it to fall forward. As a result, the second round and any future ones are smoother and simpler to handle (at least for the majority of shooters).
The first round will already be single action if the weapon is already cocked with the hammer drawn back, which is why some people carry it “cocked and locked.”
Taurus claimed that the development of the TH45 did not simply involve enlarging the already-existing TH-series. According to the manufacturer, “Each action component was carefully thought out to take the increased punishment that a big bore cartridge like the.45 ACP will deliver.”

FIREARMS SAFETY RULES
- All weapons should be handled as though they were loaded. Never forget that a gun has the capacity to cause fatality or serious injury in the blink of an eye. Make it a practice to handle your firearms safely at all times. When a gun appears to be unloaded, keep handling it as if it were loaded.
- Keep your guns aimed in a secure direction at all times! You must also take into account the fact that a bullet can pass through walls, ceilings, floors, and windows, as well as the fact that it can ricochet or glance off any object it strikes.
- Till you have set the gun’s sights on a secure target and decided to fire, keep your finger away from the trigger guard and off the trigger! You may ensure that all rounds you fire will safely travel in the direction of your intended target by keeping your finger entirely outside the trigger guard until you have locked your sights on the target.
- Always check to be sure your target and the area are secure before firing! Remember that a bullet can travel up to many miles, so before you pull the trigger, you should be assured of what your bullet might strike. Never shoot at a sound, a movement, a flash of color, or a rustling bush without first confirming that it is your intended target.
