KEL-TEC SU16/SU-16A .223 REM/5.56 AR-15 RIFLE

The SU16 series was created to be the ideal Sport Utility rifle for daily use. These gas piston operated, semi-auto rifles take standard AR-15 magazines and vary mainly in barrel length and stock design. Some versions also have two spare, proprietary magazines stored in the stock. The SU16A served as the inspiration for KelTec’s reimagining of the contemporary Sport Utility rifle. It is the all-purpose utility gun that is chambered in 5.56 NATO. It has a magazine storage stock that can accommodate two exclusive, 10-round mags. The forend serves as a bipod and protects an 18.5-inch barrel. Despite having adjustable sights, the SU16 versions have an integrated Picatinny-style rail on the receiver for mounting an optic.
