Let’s talk specifically about the “Frankenstein” mashup design of the G19x (Glock calls this a crossover pistol). The Glock 17 is a full-size 9mm version made by Glock. One of the most popular and often purchased guns that Glock makes is the 17. The Glock 17 has always been a favorite of mine, and I bought my first Glock a number of years ago.

Range Test

I couldn’t wait to use the Glock 19x at the shooting range and fire some shots! I’ll be honest; I took this personally because I’ve recently been running some other 9mm pistols that I truly appreciate. This 19x disappointed me, but not for the reasons you may think.

I expected to lean more toward the other pistols I’ve recently used on the range, but I was mistaken. Glock made this thing too damn enjoyable and comfortable to shoot. The Glock 19x is incredibly fun to use and accurate right out of the box. The sights are clear, the handgun puts rounds on target where you want them to, and it will more than suffice for you in a self-defense situation, however I would want to view them a little brighter during the day.
