The newest improvement in the CROSS bolt-action rifle line is the new CROSS STX from SIG SAUER. The tactical shooter now has access to a new level of performance and capability thanks to the CROSS STX. 20″ precise barrel, full-length Picatinny top rail, thumb-rest safety selector, PRS-style grip, controls, and ergonomics similar to an AR. Professional end users searching for exceptional performance in a portable, long-range platform contributed to the development of the CROSS STX.

The Sig Sauer team sought to create a hunting rifle that was dependable and had precision-level accuracy. It had to be nimble and adaptable enough to work in any circumstance.

The only similarities to the normal Cross series rifle are that it has the same receiver and stock. SIG’s SLH/SLX suppressor-ready QD flash hider is mounted on 5/8×24 TPI threads on the muzzle of a 20-inch heavy barrel when the it leaves the factory. Additionally, it features a full-length 20-MOA top rail instead of the small rail found on the original Cross and a longer free float M-LOK handguard. This creates space for equipment like night vision and modular optics.
